Hi, and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Tricia—I'm a 28-year-old stay-at-home mom to five amazing (and often chaotic) kiddos, ages 9, 8, 6, 3, and 2. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for ten years, and we’ve been together for fifteen. We’ve built a big, beautiful life full of noise, messes, hugs, and a whole lot of grace.
We homeschool our three oldest children, which means most days are a mix of lesson plans, spilled snacks, and someone asking me where their pencil went... again. It’s not perfect, but it’s ours—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
This blog is a space I created to finally put words to the life I’ve been quietly living.
I’m on a journey of healing—physically, mentally, and spiritually. After years of struggling with depression, unhealthy habits, and losing myself in the busyness of motherhood, I’m choosing to start over. I’m learning how to take care of my body, my mind, and my soul. I’m working on building a healthier lifestyle, drinking more water than soda (trying, anyway), reconnecting with God, and just…being more present.
You won’t find perfection here. Just honesty, growth, and hopefully, encouragement.
Here on Simply Tricia, I’ll be sharing bits of our homeschool life, my wellness journey, faith, favorite books, slow mornings, messy days, and the little everyday wins that feel like magic when you stop to notice them. I’ll be showing up as my full, flawed self—and if that’s what you’re bringing too, then I’m so glad you’re here.
